Harrison Fream

Harrison Fream made his service project around helping Maines underprivileged communities obtain more and better reading material. He did so by funding and constructing two Little Free Libray boxes, where children and parents can take and leave books to use in their households. This project was especially helpful for these families during the COVID-19 pandemic, so that young students could still have access to books while in lockdown. All in all, the project took around 123 man-hours to complete and gave not only Harrison but many volunteers great experiences in carpentry, fundraising, and teamwork.
