Day 2 - Camp Hinds -2022

Another successful day in the books! What started groggy thanks to overnight rain quickly built into enthusiasm for double blocks of some merit badges. Our scouts are taking everything from Nuclear Science to Automotive Maintenance. They are also taking the classics such as swimming, archery and mammal science.

The day also featured a scout favorite, canoe trip down the Tenney River. Scouts paddled (dusting off their Allagash River skills) to a local beach, had a nice swim call, and even had some ice cream courtesy of the Troop fund raising (yard sale).

My day ended with the scouts as they dressed in their Class A’s for evening retreat. Their solemnity of this time honored tradition was noted.
